Here is a MEGA RARE Lp album from my collection offered up for auction & or instant sale: The Jimi Hendrix Experience debut album "Are You Experienced", released in 1967 on Reprise Records R-6261 MONO, this is an original 1967 promotional pressing with the white radio station MONO labels! The holy grail pressing of Jimi Hendrix's debut album featuring his self-penned classics "Purple Haze", "Manic Depression", "The Wind Cries Mary", "Foxy Lady", plus Hey Joe, 3rd planet from the sun and more! The record grades strong VG, is clean and still fairly glossy, record shows a lot of light sleeve wear and some light marks, nothing heavy or that you can feel, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays great from start to finish with very good sound quality! This has only minimal surface noise and this MONO mix has much clearer sound than it's stereo counterpart. The vocals especially reveal more clarity with less effects than the stereo version which seems to me to be over saturated with effects. (Jimi thought so too according to recorded interviews!) The labels are clean and have NO writing or signatures! No radio station stamps or call letters like many others found! . The vintage MONO cover rates EX-, has great color with minimal ring wear, is very clean ,seams are mostly intact, binder edge is readable, lower corner of binder has small tape repair, top seam has small tape repair at opening. Tape is NOT yellowed and repaired neatly! The cover has NO signatures or writing, no stains, has been very well cared for! (see all photos). NO RESERVE PRICE!
