Description
Tonight I am listing a number BEATLE LP’s starting with THE WHITE ALBUM.
They are all first or early pressings and are from the same collector who rarely played them, recorded them to tape even before cassettes were available, and just stored the vinyl away.
Here we have the classic double album “The Beatles” generally referred to as “The White Album” No. 0103881, released on the APPLE label No. PMC 7068. This is a first pressing issue with the matrix Nos. XEX 709-1 & 710-1, XEX 711-1 & XEX 712-2.
It comes in a wide spined top opening fully laminated gatefold cover (flipbacks showing on the inner) with the four original photos and the poster/lyric sleeve.
Record labels have the dark green apples and “Sold in UK label” text.
Rarely have I seen records in the condition of these NEAR MINT not a mark on playing surfaces or any of the labels.
The gatefold cover just has a little ring show ( not wear) probably from being stored in a
cupboard for many years, spine is totally readable, with no cracking or splitting as is usual case, still EXCELLENT.
The four photo’s and poster are as new, also the paper photo divider.
It comes with the two original black inner sleeves, which again are like new.
This is a real collector item, will never need to upgrade, I think the best you are ever likely to see, you will not be disappointed.
