We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. 1968 first pressing of a KILLER garage psych LP filled with deadly FUZZ guitar all over the place....
Definitely hard to find and one of the BEST psych-ploitation albums in existence, file along with Animated Egg, 101 Strings "Astro Sounds" and the like...Rumored to be the work of the highly rated West Coast Wilson McKinley group who released the legendary "Spirit Of Elijah" Lp. All we can say, is that even though packaged as one of the labels typical exploitation releases, this one features really wicked, underground-rock influenced hard psych rock with lots and lots of stunning fuzz guitar and gushing Hammond...Laced with cool covers and self penned tunes credited to Martin Huckridge and Al Sherman, originals such as the freak out "Mozart's Dilemma", "Spaced Out" and "Winter Draws On" are full of fuzz guitar solos and screaming organs, making the album surprisingly good. All told one of the better exploitation LPs out there ....
'Albatross' the Peter Green & Fleetwood Mac late '60s tune features a pretty, but bare-bones guitar-propelled atmospheric drifter...Ever seen was of the '60s 'B" flicks that has something to do with young people rebelling against society and featured at least one scene with a rock and roll band in the background ? Well, 'Apricot Brandy' sounded like it was lifted from the sound track for one of those films (so does the un-credited album cover for that matter). The jumpy organ and guitar arrangement are surprisingly catchy. Anyone want to get up and dance ? Then, if you ever wanted to hear a fuzz guitar powered version of 'Sabre Dance' (The Love Sculture did it too) here's your chance. Actually, combined with the manic drumming the results are highly interesting with an organ-powered mid-section.
'Mozart's Dilemma' might be the appropriate soundtrack for such an outing as dropping acid at a circus. About midway through the song some first-rate fuzz guitar kicked in and the freak-out Irish jig-played-on-synthesizer segment would have made Rick Wakeman proud. 'Spaced Out' has a modest spacey feel and once again, the anonymous fuzz lead guitar provided the song's creative highpoint. Whoever this person was knew how to turn in some blazing leads. Elsewhere, the organ powered 'Hot Shot' starts out with a distinctive Stax flavor and about halfway through explodes with another wild fuzz solo. This one's a blast to listen to on good headphones.. A real treaet for those into Stax and fuzz guitar as will be one to enjoy immensely! The liner notes didn't include any writing credits, but their cover of Eddie Cochran's 'Summertime Blues' is along the lines of the original - a raucous fuzzed up version...'Winter Draws On' is basically a bluesy number with some interesting guitar effects slapped all over it. Features a great weird metallic effect. One of the collection's more pop-oriented efforts and one of the catchier performance, 'Spring without Words' is a breezy organ and guitar dual. It really generates quite a bit of energy as it goes along. About the funkiest thing on the album, 'Pecadillo' finds the band going into a Stax/Booker T. Jones-styled heavy groove. Sadly not long enough and easily one of the LP highlights. (hip checks to Bad Cat, check their cool grooves on the web)
