Rare 1968 The Beatles USA WHITE ALBUM Stereo LP - Apple Records SWBO 101 with All 7 Song Title Errors in VG+ condition !!!
THE VINYL: This is an Apple Records SWBO101 First Issue Scranton, PA factory copy that contains All 7 different Song Title Errors contained on both discs! 4 Errors on Disc 1 and 3 Errors on Disk 2. Side 1 is in Side1 is in VG+ condition; the deadwax is SWBO-1-101-J46 #1; it is marked 'IAM inside a triangle' as this is the Scranton PA factory mark. Side 2 is in VG+ condition; the deadwax is SWBO-2-101-J45 #3; it is marked 'IAM inside a triangle'. Side 3 is in VG++ condition and the deadwax is marked SWBO-3-101-J47 #3; it has the Scranton factory mark. Side 4 is in Very Good++ condition along with the Scranton factory mark. All 4 Sides have great gloss and excellent labels! THE 7 SONG TITLE ERRORS: Disk 1 contains 4 of the song title errors. See below. Only the very first pressings contained these 7 song title errors and it's not known how many copies slipped out the factory doors before being noticed and immediately changed, but it's not many! Some copies of the Beatles white album were only issued with 1 disk with the errors; in order to find all 7 errors you have to have a copy where both Disk1 and Disk2 have the incorrect titles listed.
Here is the breakdown:
1. "Bungalow Bill" instead of "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill" Side 1
2. "Obladi Oblada" instead of "Ob-la-di Ob-la-da" Side 1
3. "Rocky Racoon", missing the second "C" in Raccoon Side 2
4. "Goodnight" instead of "Good Night" Side 4
5. "Revolution No. 1" instead of "Revolution 1" Side 4
6. "Revolution No. 9" instead of "Revolution 9" Side 4
7. "Why Don't we do it in the road" without the question mark (?) Side 2

THE JACKET: The jacket is a solid Very Good to VG+ condition. The cover still has a nice shine with minimal overall wear and a few spots here and there. The inside gatefold is clean except there is a small stain that runs along the top edge. There are no seam splits except at the top mouth: the front top flap is split inwards 2" and the back top flap is split inwards 1". The bottom seams are not split. The spine is nearly complete with good printing; the bottom 1" of the spine is missing (see pic) however the printing on the spine is complete. This jacket was produced at the Capitol Records Scranton, PA factory and has the First Day Number stamped on the cover # A1612669. The Scranton factory started their numbering system at 1385000. The Spizer record ID number is APP101.SR1A.
THE INNER SLEEVES: the record as found came with 2 plain white inner sleeves which are not the originals but the original white sleeves were simply plain white. Nothing special. Both vinyl records will be shipped inside brand new high quality protection LP inner sleeves!
THE POSTER: included is the original Apple Records poster in VG- condition. Some wear plus a few tears on the factory folds but complete. No photos included.
