Description
On offer here is a ‘MONO’ first pressing of PINK FLOYD’S 1968 UK original debut album titled “A SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS” on COLUMBIA (Blue/ black label) No. SX 6258 with matrix Nos. XAX 3633-1 & 3634 – 1, with 1M & 1R stamper numbers.
Both labels display “Sold In UK” text.
Record is housed in a front laminated flip-back cover
Tracks; Let There Be More Light – Remember A Day – Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun – Corporal Clegg – A Saucerful Of Secrets – See-Saw –Jugband Blues.
Record shows some light marks, plays all through without sticking, skips or jumps, plays really nice, just the occasional light crackle.
Like my ‘Pipers’ LP, there is a small paint mark, this time on side two rim, makes you wonder whether previous owner put them there as ownership criteria, or was careless when decorating, again it has no effect on play.
Cover, again shows wear to opening edges where clear tape has been added, there is also a tear again repaired with tape on front one.
