Hard to find original triple gatefold vinyl LP pressing of the ledgendary 1969 first COVEN album. A wicked female vocal led sinister hard psych rocker with occult overtones, loud, brash & trashy hardrock trips... supplies a separate fold out for the sinister lyrics as well as the complete grafics that showcased the beautiful female vocalist in a mock nude sacrifice.
Late-1960s occult band Coven achieved notoriety with their catchily titled debut album, emerging as they did around the time of the Sharon Tate murders. Interestingly, their fan base apparently included Charles Manson himself, as well as the renowned occultist Anton La Vey. Though the attendant negative publicity around an album that included a full-blown satanic ritual (as well as the cheekily titled "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge") was to herald a swift change in musical direction, WITCHCRAFT DESTROYS remains a fascinating oddity, an early precursor to a swarm of like-minded, similarly hell-bound early-21st century outfits.

CONDITION: The gatefold cover is VG++, ONLY a little light wear starting, not too bad at all, no seam splits, no writing, no bends, it's in collectible condition, a keeper copy
The vinyl has glossy surface, VG+(+), would be grade "EX" and all plays TOP level except for some light marks on last track "Satanic Mass" there is surface crackle, so, in all then downgraded to VG+(+) ... should hopefully please as is a rare original sought album from nearing 40 years ago in triple-fold deluxe grafics gatefold cover....
