Description

~RARE~ Cream's "Goodbye" Album ~SEALED MINT~ Atco Records 1969 SD-7001 ~ First Pressing     You are bidding on one of those rare finds you get when your looking thru albums in a milk crate in a basement and you find a Cream album unopened from 1969!! So, up for grabs is a NEW factory sealed first pressing of Cream's "Goodbye" record in mint condition. First pressings acknowleged only Clapton as the composer on the song, "Badge" which was later corrected in subsequent pressings rightfully adding George Harrison of the Beatles who co-wrote the song with Clapton. George Harrison also plays rythym guitar on the track "Badge" and is listed in the credits under the pseudonym, L'Angelo Misterioso. Of the 6 songs on the LP; half are live recordings and the other 3 are studio recordings. Most would agree that the band really stepped it up, ramping up there live performances and really nailing the studio tracks on this, their 4th and last album together.  Earlier versions like this one didn't come with the sticker advertising the poster inside and secondly Clapton is the only one acknowledged as composer on "Badge."  Due to these two indicators we know this is an early first pressing and Im speculating it likely contains the larger more desireable poster inside. (my opinion)  There is no warping to be seen. The jacket corners show some wear but other than that this is a gem!      (Please look at the pictures for more) ~ Good Luck ~
