We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

1969 UK hard Blues Classic ~~ Not To Be Overlooked!

CLEAN Original 1969 first pressing vinyl on the yellow Epic label...always been a hard obscure find, the British blues outfit made some very worthy collectible albums, here, one of their best.
Steamhammer's debut is clearly entrenched in the British Blues Boom along with Ten Years After, Savoy Brown, Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, Chicken shack, Sam Apple Pie and others. Some guitar solos remind of Jimi Hendrix: the guitar sound is just excellent for the early year of '69. Steve Joliffe plays some excellent flute parts a la Jethro Tull. There are some visceral & typical harmonica parts. The tracks are catchy, and retain melodic and galloping bass, which has a loud bottom sound. There are actually many fine moments along the way... filled with great guitar cookin' interplays and strong songwriting which make this album a great example of electrified UK progressive blues...Try this.. a not to be overlooked.. a classic

CONDITION: The cover: The cover is solid. Visually: clean VG++ no seam splits, no writing and no bends anywhere, having only very light unnoticable minor storage shelf wear. all in all a strong cover, hard to find album as it is, especially clean front cover that shows shelf wear easily.
The vinyl: all glossy clear and shiny "EX" (excellent) with only a few little inner sleeve paper-like scuffs, plays outstanding....
