Description

The item you are bidding on is a Rare 1969 Copy of The Mothers of Invention, Uncle Meat.  This has two lp's and a Nifty 12-Page book.  Reprise Records, Stereo, 2MS 2024.  The insert is in MINT condition.  The Records are both in MINT condition as they have never been played.  The Jacket is in MINT condtion also.  The Mothers - at the time of this recording were:  FRANK ZAPPA - guitar, low grade vocals, percussion.  RAY COLLINS - swell vocals.  JIMMY CARL BLACK - drums, droll humor, poverty.  ROY ESTRADA - electric bass, cheeseburgers, pachuco falsetto.  Don (Dom De Wild) PRESTON - electric piano, tarot cards, brown rice.  BILLY (the oozer) BUNK (Sweetpants) GARDNER - piccolo, flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, soprano sax, alto sax, tenor sax, bassoon (all of these electric and or non electric depending).  IAN UNDERWOOD - electric organ, piano, harpsichord, celeste, flute, clarinet, alto sax, baritone sax, special assistance, copyist, industrial relations & teen appeal.  ARTIE TRIPP - drums, timpani, vibes, marimba, zylophone, wood blocks, bells, small chimes, cheerful outlook and specific enquiries.  EUCLID JAMES SHERWOOD - pop star, frenetic tenor sax stylings, tambourine, choreography, obstinance and equipment setter upper when he's not hustling local groupies.  RUTH KOMANOFF - who plays marimba ad vbes with Artie on many of the tracks, and NELCY WALKER  the soprano voice with Ray and Roy on Dog Breath and The Uncle Meat Variations.  Side One:  uncle meat, the voice of cheese, nine types of industrial pollution, zolar czakl, dog breath, in the year of the plague, the legend of the golden arches, louie louie, the dog breath variations.  Side Two:  sleeping in a jar, our bizarre relationship, the uncle meat variations, electric aunt jemina, prelude to king kong, god bless america, a pound for a brown on the bus, ian unerwood whips it out (live on stage in copenhagen).  Side Three:  mr green genes, we can shoot you, if we'd all been living in california, the air, project x, cruising for burgers.  Side Four:  king kon itself, king kong, king kong, king kong, king kong, king kong.  Please check out my other auctions as I will discount shipping on multiple orders.  Email me with any questions.
