The Velvet Underground- 1969 Velvet Underground Live With Lou Reed. 1974 USA 17 Track 1st Pressing Double Vinyl LP with Gatefold sleeve and Original Mercury Company Inner Sleeves ( SRM- 2 7504)
From the collection of Billy Duffy. This was purchased at last year's Omega charity auction where Billy was auctioning off his music and memorabilia collection. This was part of a couple of mixed vinyl lots that I purchased on that day. I am keeping most of it, but selling off some items that I either have duplicates of or don't particularly want. Will include a photo copy of the signed Certificate of authenticity from the auction house to the winning bidder/buyer. see last 2 pics.
Play Tested/ Strictly Graded:
Vinyl- VG+ Both discs play through really nicely, with hardly any surface noise apart from on a couple of occasions on some of the quieter passages. Visually just a few superficial hairlines and scuffs only visible under strong light. VG,+/Ex-
Sleeve- VG Some shelf wear esp on the corners and edges. Still fully intact and decent for age though. Spine has wear but is readable. A solid VG. See pics
Inner sleeves- VG, the odd mark and small crease.
This will come with a new pvc protective outer sleeve and new white inners as well as the original inners Will be posted out in a custom Amazon Style mailing box with added stiffeners.

I use the Record Collector Grading System sometimes with a + or - to indicate that it's slightly better or slightly worse than than Ex or VG etc.
MINT; The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT; The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD; The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR; The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. I will not sell any vinyl below this grade.
