8. In 1970 TRAFFIC  SOUND recorded their third LP titled "TIBETS SUZZETTES" (MAG LPN-2395); in some opinions their finest album. 
9. Housed in a elaborate triple-fold psychedelic designed cover, features seven tracks of highly original material, full of “all out” improvised solos. At this point they had a strong, mature sound; unique in the right mixture of psychedelic rock with Andean and exotic flairs in their uniqueness - a winning combination!

The hit songs ”Chicama Way” and “Tibet’ s Suzettes” revealed the group’ s inner thoughts and the atmosphere that surrounded Peruvian teen-scene in-crowd hipsters along with teen youths in the early seventies. TRAFFIC  SOUND being the hipsters in underground rock Peruvian/South American unforgotten glories ! 
11. The interesting and peculiar thing is that TRAFFIC SOUND started simultaneously with JETHRO TULL so the development of their sound is contagious, not sure if it's influence or a parallel musical development in the opposite sides of the world.
    
    The album opens with the excellent "Tibet's Suzettes (gently guaranteed to get you high)" well they don't make promises in vain, the song gets many really high! This track is very close to early Jethro Tull, a similarity with "Teacher" (both songs were released in April 1970), with strong guitar by by Willy Barclay and solid bass by Willy Thorne.
    The song continues bluesy and very psychedelic when Jean Pierre Magnet begins with his flute the Jethro Tull sound is even more evident, the atmosphere is a mixture of blues with prog' and exotica sound all blended gently and efficiently, great song, extraordinaire changes, being the star Mr. Jean Pierre Magnet is absolutely brilliant with the flute and winds.
    
    "Those Days are Gone" starts with a compassed keys, perfectly supported by Freddy Rizo Patron on rhythm guitar and vocals again similar to Ian Anderson, the flute style in this track is sweeter and softer than in the previous song and orients the track towards a jazzy finale, again headed incredibly by Mr. Magnet in the flute and keys by Willy Thorne.
    
    "Yesterday's Game" is a typical Traffic Sound track, absolutely in the line of British Psychedelia but with a unique exotic sound provided by percussion probably played by the vocalist Manuel Sanguinetti, simple but effective choirs and solid drumming by Luis Nervaez.
    
    "America" is softer than all the previous tracks, starts with acoustic guitar and distorted vocals; again (not a surprise) Jean Pierre Magnet does an excellent job with fluttering flute perfectly supported by extremely beautiful keyboard via Willy Thorne. The perfect addition for this song is the weird Hindu atmosphere perfectly crafted by TRAFFIC SOUND. The performance is excellent.
    
    "What You Need and What You Want" starts almost exactly to Jethro Tull's "Locomotive Breath" from their "AQUALUNG" LP and what reinforces the opinion is  any similarity must be casual, because "Traffic Sound" was released one year before "Aqualung" so it's impossible that they have copied this section from JETHRO TULL, if you have the chance to listen it you'll notice is almost identical.
    
    If you have ever heard the African band "OSIBISA," then you can imagine how the atmosphere of this strange track develops after the mysterious start, almost like a mixture of Santana and Cream but with an Afro Peruvian sound created by congas and vibraphone with a touch of hard rock in the vein of Uriah Heep, again strong guitar and vocals, less progressive than all the previous but very strong and energetic.
    The name of this song "Chicama" is a symbol for surfers all around the world; some people say it's the most perfect wave anywhere ...the song is pristine exotic psychedelia, with fabulous winds that create a jazzy sound complementing Motown like guitars and Latin percussion, the song ends as it began but after incredible keyboards, flute and vocals extravaganza with the guitars playing in Jimi Hendrix style, a wonderful experiment as these things often turned out in the early 70's

The cover: rated: VG+ amazing laminated triple-fold cover in striking bright pink from 54 years...there is light scuffs to the lamination, but no ring wear so only visible in light reflection...light seams wear is minor and overall decent+ handling, and remains a keeper collection copy, as finding mint would take time time and multi $ and time ...There are no delete marks, no split seams, and no writing  ...and asstated,light previous not mint, prior handling
    

1. The vinyl: Rated: VG+(+) heavyweight thick platter deep groove press like all original Traffic Sound platters ... light, light hair scuffs, plays highly collectible in "excellent" audio zones...maybe bits of insignificant surface well below music level = yet overall very enjoyable mentioning as owned this copy for many years, never found better and  both Peru 1970 MAG labels are very decent clean
