Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. TOP COPY! ALL MINTY CLEAN ....Original 1970 first pressing of highly acclaimed Bridge Over Troubled Water  that represented something of the end of an era. Rather like their contemporaries the Beatles with "Abbey Road", Simon and Garfunkel brought down the curtain on their successful 60's career with a swan-song album which they knew, as they recorded it, would be their last studio set and which correspondingly saw them go out on a high, both artistically and commercially.

On their fifth and final album as a duo, Simon & Garfunkel could have rested on their laurels simply by showcasing the stunning "Bridge Over Troubled Water", one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded in any genre, as well as offering one of the greatest vocal performances by Art Garfunkel (his singing of final note is one of the classic moments in rock history). But there is more to this album than a single song. For instance, "The Boxer" is an epic that outdoes even Dylan in the folk-rock storytelling department ("I have squandered my resistance for a pocketful of mumbles, such are promises"). "The Only Living Boy in New York" and "Song for the Asking" are both exquisite personal miniatures, and "Cecilia" and "El Condor Pasa (If I Could)" reflect Simon's burgeoning interest in world music, which he would explore in greater detail during his solo career. "Keep the Customer Satisfied" and "Baby Driver" are both up-tempo and humorous, while "Bye Bye Love" looks back on The Everley Brothers, a group Simon & Garfunkel patterned themselves after very early in their career. Like The Beatles, who ended their partnership at around the same time, Simon & Garfunkel went out on top of the charts.
