Description
THIS IS A SCARCE LET IT BE LP BOX SET BY THE BEATLES (PXS 1) ON THE UK APPLE RECORDS LABEL.
This is a stereo first pressing with the red apple logo on the rear of the LP sleeve.

The record has not been played prior to listing. The vinyl has a good shiny lustre but clear has been played from the spindle marks, though the "dark" labels are in excellent condition. There are a few scratches on the surface of both sides and some circular surface marking on the last 2 tracks on both sides. It's hard to think what might have caused these - perhaps cleaning the record? I don't know if these would affect play back
LP cover
Pretty good all round and no major issues to report as you would expect from a cover stored in an outer box - just normal ageing
Box - outer slip cover
Some wear and rubbing on outer edges and corners. Some of lamination parting company with card on bottom of front. Light creasing. Scratch on rear cover which does not penetrate lamination. See photo's
Box - inner slip tray
As we all know not fit for purpose. The original tray has wear and rubbing on all folded edges but no tears
Box - Book holder tray
Brand new replacement. The original has not survived
Get Back Book
Front cover - very good
Inner pages very good - as you will know some great photo's of the band. No loose pages but the book "separates" on the binding about a third of the way in. Something which could be renovated for future protection I should think.
Rear cover - has some creases and section of card cover damaged - see photo.
Apple poster
Brand new reproduction poster in protective sleeve

Postage
I have bought a special protective bag for posting this record out safely.
UK - Postage will be Royal Mail tracked, signed for, next day. This will be £11.00 not the £7.00 shown - the eBay scheduler will not let me add in the true cost as given to me by my local Post Office. I will post as soon as the listing ends but I cannot guarantee for Xmas delivery - though I'll do my best. If you want it soon, the Buy It Now option will be best option. You are welcome to collect from S41 0XL, Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
I prefer to sell within the UK because of the risk of posting an item like this overseas. I try to describe my items honestly - see my feedback - but I know expectations can be great on high value items. No return accepted from overseas - the risk is yours. Postage estimate; Europe £20, RoW £25. I'm sure the last posting dates for Xmas outside the UK has now passed.
