Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! This 1970 ORIGINAL is a powerful and inventive psychedelic heavy rock album that stands on its own as a great work. Euclid was signed to Bob Thiele's Flying Dutchman Records (a "Mainstream" records subsidiary label, with the usual weak distribution by Mainstream Records,reason why hardly any records consumer sa the album.... BUT was one of the few, if not only "rock" releases on The Amsterdam label (usually releasing Jazz albums)
With tremendous rumbling in-your-face riffing fuzz guitars; screaming solos, backwards effects, thick fuzz bass, pounding drums and bold-effected vocals, the album, produced by the legendary Bobby Herne, with finishing touches to the mix by Les Paul, Jr; stands proudly with one foot in the 1960s & one in the 1970s, crafting their sound with a heavy-handed metallic slam-bam heaviness, powerful jams front to back
One of the coolest things about this album is the raw & ferocious high energy rock elements mixed with psychedelic convictions of the drug saturated times. The characteristics combined with a outrageous heavy/hard rock focus, result among the best of heavy rock albums ever recorded in the United States. The combined members' support in crystalline four-vocal harmonies. The lead vocals are "take no prisoners" brutal stylings. Bobby Herne's production on this record, with lots of twists & turns, is absolutely top notch and gives the music its deep unstoppable heavy forward momentum. The first track is a real winner, clocking in at over 11 minutes, blasting forth with super heavy monster guitar riffs found all throughout the "Heavy Equipment" album. ...................................... . .
There's also hints of an eastern psych groove with cool sitar playing, and their version of "Gimme Some Lovin'" sounds if done by The Jimi Hendrix Experience.Their old friend Bobby Herne producing a "bad trip" spiked with backwards tape effects, darkly-phased vocals, all instruments set from overkill to "pummel", and an album title certainly eligible for the 'truth-in-advertising' award with its 'earth moving' characteristics.
Their original songs are incredibly inventive with lots of twists and turns. The album itself stands as a perfect monument which musically represents the transition from hard heavy psych to hard heavy rock.
This is an LP you'll play over & over, and never get tired of! In short, the group Euclid was one of the true "unsung" cornerstones in crunching mega-hard rock popularity
