Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Hard to find...Original 1971 first pressing BRITISH issue by a 'heated' progressive unit featuring a well developed professional sound...bassist John Wetton (ex-King Crimson) in the ranks should tell you a lot about the skills within....
When guitarist James Litherland got sacked from COLOSSEUM, although he was one of the main elements that made them so popular as he was the singer, he quickly formed MOGUL THRASH along with John Wetton (KING CRIMSON) and Roger Ball (BEDLAM) and made an excellent album very much in the style of the first two COLOSSEUM albums but much more all out rocking. The album was produced by Brian Auger (of OBLIVION EXPRESS) who also contributes keys on one track.
Attention PROGRESSIVE ROCK fans, this Lp is for you!!! After James Litherland was ejected from Colosseum, clearly he had a lot more progressive music to offer, if even a bit more hard-rocking ... From the first notes of Something Sad (leading to superb bass works from Wetton) to the end of What's This I hear , we deal with a speeded-up Colosseum styled prog-rock with loads of energy. The 12 min Going North track is the center piece of the album with searing guitar leads divinely underlined by heated spice backing arrangements, over a superb Whetton bass hook.
Overall musically these guys were a pure mix of fusion prog and Canterbury progressive mixes and feature some pretty cool tunes. Hard to exactly compare their sound but think of "Colosseum" meets "King Crimson" was probably their direction...a good one at that!
