Description
This record comes from a very clean and non-smoking estate, belong to a man who cared for everything he owned with fastidiousness, meaning that both the record and its sleeve grade as Excellent. This is a 1971 rare first pressing first edition of STICKY FINGERS by The Rolling Stones, released on Rolling Stones Records as COC 59100 This is in all but perfect condition and the record shows no matrix number but instead the first edition affirming 'Rolling Stones Records' hand-etched matrix mark. The reverse side shows the machine number COC 59100-B4, making this First Pressing, Variant 3. This must have been made so early that the record labelling is incorrect, Side Two having been put on the record twice, requiring the original owner to handwrite the song titles to the incorrectly-labelled side. Insert Sheet with band photo and reverse sleeve notes. Made in United States. Condition throughout is excellent. Sleeve has inset cloth and metal zip that opens and closes. Sleeve is open to both ends and shows beneath jeans in partly concealed image. Graded 99%. Very good rare piece for collectors
