"PSYCHONAUT"
..|/\|...............................................|/\|.. GERMANY - BELLAPHON - 15156
One of the all time spaced-out psychedelic Lp's you may yet to experience... Defining the definition of acid-rock combining underground Krautrock progressive flourishes, groups like this didn't usually release records this far out, while it is still very cohesive and accessible in a stoned way...
1972 ... BRAINTICKET ~ "PSYCHONAUT"
Derived perhaps from San Francisco Sound '60s meeting the futuristic Krautrock adventures, Brainticket were, in their prime as this album exhibits, a cut above similar groups delivering a decidedly " Killer " brand of acid-head-like psychedelia to the likes that would make for the perfect sonic companion for your household lava lamp.

BRAINTICKET is brain food and probably deserves to be filed under "stoner rock with brains" section. Led by creative keyboard wizard Joel Vandroogenbroeck with the important additive of female vocalist Jane Free the band carries of picture perfect west-coast persona making BRAINTICKET's second release a "gotta have-it release" in the minds of many. "Psychonaut" have the potential to take you on a journey into regions of your mind you may have never traveled before, or at least for a long time. The tracks are uniquely enabled through darkly crafted use of whirling / fluttering flutes, gushing swirl organs, distorted guitars, wild percussive elements and loads of trippy sound effects. All-in-all this is a superb psychedelic-progressive rock offering which should appeal to ALL of the 'heads.'

Get past that and it's a serviceable cover with no wear! No split seams, no writing, no delete marks and we'll leave the no bends over and out to the imagination rendering the given grade.
The vinyl: Rated: visually survived appearing perfectly fine, rated then as "EX" (excellent) the listener can expect an enjoyable journey... both German Bellaphon labels are clean A cool addition to anyone's music library!
