1972 FAUST - SO FAR vinyl LP original 1st A2 B2 press Polydor. All Inserts. VGC. Condition is Used.
This is your chance to own an original A2 B2 first pressing of the 1972 FAUST - SO FAR Polydor vinyl LP with all inserts including track listings, words and custom art work.
Condition is Used.
This record has been kept in a cool dry cupboard and un-played for well over 40 years having been purchased by me in the 1970s and then carried off to university and subsequent houses in a record box.
I have not played it, to check track quality, as I no longer have a respectable turntable fearing that one of today's modern USB record decks would act more like a plastic milling machine. My comments below are therefore based on a close visual inspection only. I have not cleaned the disc.
Disc:
Face 1:
The black impressed label is in good condition with no rubbing to the central spindle hole and only slight spindle rub marks.
The disc surface is in excellent visual condition with no visible scratches. There is some surface dust and a few fingerprints and dirt spots. The Matrix / Runout is stamped 2310196 A//2 ? 420 11 3 and 05.
Face 2:

Sleeve:
The sleeve is in good overall condition with only light creasing, no rips and slight age related discoloration.
Insert:
The inserts are contained in a separate black stiff paper sleeve which is in excellent unmarked condition. The inserts comprise 9 pictures, one for each track, and a further sheet with words and credits. They are in excellent, near mint condition, with some light fingerprints only.
Cover:
The cover is in excellent condition with no labels, impression marks or writing. The cardboard is smooth, clean and "crisp" with little to no rubbing and wear to the bottom edges and corners.
Please inspect the photographs carefully.
For shipping I will place the record in plastic wrapping and pack in double stiff corrugated packaging.
