We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.  We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback.   We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied.   1. Next to EMBRYO, KRAAN are among those German groups who include psychedelic, sometimes ethnic elements to their distinctive, innovative progressive-jazz rock.

  1. "KRAAN" is the 1972 FIRST LP and the tracks within contain never a dull moment in shifting complexities riding the waves into unique layers that unfold and are discovered with each successive listen!

  3.  "Saras Ritt Durch Schwarzwald" begins this krautrock extravaganza! The wildness and explosive guitar playing tears through your mind even more believably than most heavy metal out there is fully displayed in all its magnificent glory in this opening track. Definitely possesses a similar feel to early Amon Duul II but maybe more on the rocking/heavier side.

    "M.C. Escher" opens with a VERY trippy/space rocky/swirling guitar riffer that quickly ventures down into a somber  mood of wah-wah fed saxophone ...a territory almost making it sounding like a trip through Mexico. While the wah-sax jams away, the inventive drumming and guitar work also serve quite well. After a while the oddly-cool saxophone rebounds back to sensible melodic grounds while picking up where the intro of the song left off.

  5. "Kraan Arabia" opens with a very Arabian resembling violin riff with conga drums. Soon the head-slamming electric guitars come in and the wah-wah saxophone jams in a Middle Eastern kind of way for a good while led by electrified guitar that takes over and the journey flows. Often very melodic, this stuff is not just noise and plays off razor-bass solo work to the point where the band unifies into cosmic realms of the psychedelic underground ...
  6. a very creative and exciting conclusion.

    "Head" is the near 19-minute monster. The razor-bass work is excellent, the vocal melody is powerful and the acid-guitars once again are in "blow away" mode, both raw and aggressive in their attack. The drums and maddening guitar riff/cymbal smashing assures listeners these guys were experimenting with ominous imaginative hypnotics into the deep underground surroundings where several layers of instrumental passages painting different locations and feelings of eeriness subside as violins come in and provide a temporary feeling of optimism before melodic almost reassuring guitar riffage takes us to yet another short-lived element of somberness mixed by Middle Eastern-like sax trips soon joined by acid-guitar work ominously building into yet ANOTHER mind explosion! What a song! "Sara Auf Der Gansewies" is a calm way to end the album.

    Overall, this is some of the most diverse and creative rock music you could ever imagine caught on vinyl as a serious dash of energy, relentless excitement, and musical ideas that     come together impressively; a combination of     experimental, ethnic, psychedelic / acid rock free-flight grooves complete with varied tastes and discreet electronic manipulations.
