Scarce and sought after 1972 first pressing (Promotional) vinyl in triple thick grainy/textured gatefold cover with embossed silver lettering ...Hard & heavy Texas guitar rocker trio with a pounding female drummer (Linda Waring), not unlike the first two ZZ Top Lp's with that gritty blues raunch in garagey zones...
Comes with the elusive "Nitzinger" specially designed inner sleeve....
Nitzinger's debut is a pretty cool hard rock album. Very well produced by Bloodrock singer and fellow Fort Worth Texan, Jim Rutledge (the music is also published under Bloodrock's "Fancy Space" inprint). The record has a rockin' boogie feeling on many songs and a bluesy, somber come-down feeling on others. Nitzinger is indeed a power trio...with John Nitzinger on guitar n' vocals, Linda Waring on drums and vocals and Curley Benton on bass. Any fan of Bloodrock or 70's heaviness should look into this.
