Description

Released on the Anaheim, California Good label(#GTE-5008)and is titled "Jesus Is The Bridge" by the local Joplin, Missouri band Bridge. Male/female band that carries a dark vibe and covers a wide variety of sounds. Cut One/Side One is a quiet introspective ballad titled "Questions" with electric guitar backing. Next up is "Blue's" a garagey sparse electric tune that sounds lost and meandering."Look Right Up" is a guitar punk snarler that changes mid-tune into a harmonic/melodic trip and ends up going balls to the wall. "Show Me What's Real" is a loner soft rock tune and Side One finishes up with "I'm On My Way" a nice female folk rocker. Side Two starts off with "One Way" which reminds me of a lighter cut from "The Last Days" LP. "You Call Yourself A Christian" is a garagey male/female vocal trade-off. "Once You Understand" is a longer track with male/female vocals that winds up with some goofy spoken word passage about the dilemna of being a teen-ager. "Wish We'd All Be Ready" is a melodic female folk tune. and the last cut "Bridging The Gap" has a loser/loner sound. LP has a real charm and is a definite "grower". Not listed in the great Acid Archives or by Ken Scott. I will be offering one sealed copy of this record for sale and this is it.SEALED.
