Visions (Symphonic Poem) By Caesar Giovannini From the pen of Caesar Giovannini comes a brilliant Symphonic Poem displaying all of the sonorities of the modern concert band. Sammy Nestico During 15 years of service to his country in the Air Force, Mr. Nestico became known as an outstanding composer/ arranger. He has performed with and arranged for such noted Big Bands as Tommy Dorsey, Woody Herman, Charlie Barnet and Gene Krupa. Before retiring from the service he was Chief Arranger for The United States Marine Band (Washington, D.C.). Now living in Hollywood he spends much of his time writing for Television, Moviesand Recording Artists. Also to his credit, he has more than 200 compositions published. Also to his credit are scores to a number of Walt Disney movies, scores to several Broadway musicals and more recently several popular television series such as Gunsmoke and Hogans Heroes. Since moving to Hollywood Mr. Schaefer has been a special music consultant for both Disneyland and Disney World.
