Most desirable pressing available of 1979 ED1 Stan Getz Children Of The World Promo CBS 83642 WHITE Label Vinyl LP. Near mint record in a VG++ to Excellent sleeve small sticker scar to top corner only fault. Plays fully near mint in great sound on a high end system. Lalo Schifrin arrangements of tunes with lovely prominent Fender Rhodes groove from Mike Melvoin, Stanley Clarke on Bass and a Latin American percussion trio includes Paulinho Da Costa. Stan Getz in great form, I felt he had a good 70s, making it three hot decades in a row. These white label test pressings are the first off the presses so are guaranteed a fresh clean strike and tend to more likely have the guaranteed best sound, because there is no way of knowing where in the queue the normal pressing runs were after these.
