The Beach Boys - The Capitol Years (1980 Japanese ?? Sample pressing 123 tracks/7LPs on white promo/sample Capitol label, with each disc housed in its own picture sleeve inside a hinged picture box with illustrated 24-page lyric booklet and promo/sample stickered obi-strip. The first six LPs map the band's '60s output in broadly chronological fashion; the seventh volume is a 17-track 'Brian Wilson Productions' bonus disc featuring Glen Campbell's sublime Guess I'm Dumb, both sides of the Pamela Jean 45 by The Survivors, eight tracks from the Honeys, and cuts from Gary Usher and Sharon Marie, ECS-50063?9). #2

Description

Record -- Mint- : These vinyl’s still have a beautiful shine about them; between them all there are 4/5 light hairlines, there are no serious scratches, scuffs or marks, and they all sound absolutely wonderful/beautiful when played. Each has a company white promo/sample label on each side with 3 sets of Japanese writing, ?? sample, ???article was not for sale to the public and?? when on sale.

Box Cover -- EX+ : The original heavy card hinged cover. This has no rips, tears or seams coming undone, but has some shelf wear and a couple of marks about it.

Inner Sleeve Covers -- EX++ (or Better) : The original card inner sleeves. These have no rips, tears or seams coming undone. On the rear each cover there is a corresponding catalogue number, with a track listing and credits on in English.

Obi Strip -- VG+ : The original wrap around the left edge of the box obi strip, this has a couple of tears on the top and bottom spine edges, and a small piece missing from the top edge (see pictures above). All information on here is in Japanese.

Insert -- 1 Insert/Booklet : The original stapled booklet which is 12 pages 24 sides long in gatefold fashion. This has track listings in English and Japanese, information and a discography in Japanese and the lyrics in English. This has no rips, tears or creases.
