This was released in November 1980 and was available only by mail order through World Records (which is part of EMI).

Although available at the time of John Lennons death, which would have boosted sales, it was mail order only so not eligible for the charts. Actual sales figures are unknown because of this.

It’s a big favourite amongst Beatles fans as not only is it a good looking and very sturdy boxset, but a lot of the tracks have different mixes to what was previously available.

"From Liverpool - The Beatles Box"

Each album has a unique laminated picture sleeve and the set is housed in a 12" x 12" picture box.

The box is in Near Mint Condition with very minor storage wear at a few of the corners and “tips”. These are barely visible. The hinge mechanism of the box is in perfect working order. The interior of the box is also immaculate , no damage , marks , writing , scuffs or ageing / fading. Beautifully looked after.

If I had to guess , I would say this was purchased by a collector and kept in a cupboard for the next 40 years.

Vinyl

Each vinyl record is in Mint Condition and looks like it has never been played. All have a beautiful high gloss sheen and are immaculate.

Outer Sleeves

Each outer picture sleeve is in Mint Condition on both front and back, with absolutely no marks or signs of being used (or even removed from the box).

Inner Sleeves

The Emitex inner liners for each of the 8 albums, are in Mint Condition with no handling marks or signs of use.
