1980 The Beatles Rarities LP Record Album Vinyl Capitol SHAL 12060 VG+/VG 1st Cover Variation

Cover is clean with only minor corner & edge wear (see photos).  Vinyl is in better than very good condition - minor marks, but no skips or ticks, and sounds great.  
*Note - although we do quickly clean all of our records in store, it is recommended to reclean when you receive them for optimal performance.
Variation notes:

  • Black Capitol label with rainbow rim
  • "Mastered by Capitol" stamped in deadwax
  • First pressing:
    • Photos on front are raised/embossed
    • Early issue without George Martin credited as a producer on the back cover
    • "Butcher" photo from Yesterday & Today album inside the gatefold
    • Incorrectly states that "There's a Place" was never released in the US
    • Under "Helter Skelter" there is a text error that states "...so you don't hear the classic Lennon statement..."
  • Matrix / Runoff Numbers (Side 1): [etched] SHAL-1-12060-G5
  • Matrix / Runoff Numbers (Side 2): [etched] SHAL-2-12060-G1
