THE CULT HEROES
SAMPLE ♫
Amerikan Story / Don't Like It
USA Maverick MR 8102 (1981)
Explosive delivery from these Detroit / Ann Arbor Michigan Killers! Fronted by Hiawatha Baily, the Cult Heroes have been at the vanguard of original rock and roll music since 1978. They are often compared to The MC5 or The Stooges. They brought back tuned guitars and coherent chord progressions to punk rock. They have performed with the likes of Joan Jett, Iggy Pop, The Ramones, Smashing Pumpkins, The Sonic Rendezvous Band, The Dead Boys, Johnny Thunders and others. Drummer Larry Steele also played in Destroy All Monsters. Amerikan Story was comped on Killed By Death 12. Visit their website HERE Read about Detroit back in the day HERE
CONSERVATIVE GRADING. VG++ /VG++ The picture sleeve has light wear. The vinyl has minor scuffing and only a few light scratches. Minor crackle is audible on playback but isn't too distracting. A/B labels are perfect. Learn how I grade HERE
