One of NJ's earliest Punk groups THE CHRONIC SICK. Formed in 1981, they had two releases on Mutha Records : "Cutest Band In Hardcore" 12" (Mutha 002), and a self-titled 7" EP (Mutha 008) between 1982 - 83'.
CHRONIC SICK - Bobby K. (guitar), Greg Gory (vocals), Arno Baars (bass) - "Cutest Band In Hardcore" 12" EP (Mutha 002)"Chronic Sick ' Reagan Bands" 7" EP (Mutha 008). Greg later joined the X-MEN playing guitar and singing, with SICK drummer Jo-Jo Albano, and BEAST guitarist Jack Pitzer. Greg now owns the Brighton Bar in West Long Branch.
Generally these early 1980’s groundbreaking LP’s are in the same Excellent Condition as when they were first acquired at the store or in the small clubs and local venues the bands first appeared! We are only here to pass them on so that their music and sentiment will live on!

Mutha Records headed by Mark "Mutha" Chesley was a Jersey Shore based punk rock record label established in 1982, which released material by seminal New Jersey hardcore bands such as The Worst, Chronic Sick, and Fatal Rage who were among the first bands to emerge from this new Mutha-lan!. The label's activities were primarily based in Monmouth County beach communities such as Long Branch and Asbury Park. But, Mutha did not exclusively release bands from New Jersey. Also issued by the label are recordings by Youth in Asia from Canada and Rattus from Finland.
