(Ricky, Sam, Ronnie, and Mark) I wanted to send along this note to tell you how much I enjoyed being in- volved in this, your first album. I’ve worked in and around recording studios for the biggest part of my life. (recording and/or producing) At best, It’s very hard work, as I’m sure you know by now. However, to produce this album for you was truly a pleasure. Now, I know you’ve heard that old line used dozens of times by as many producers, but you also know me well enough to know if I didn’t mean it just that way, I wouldn’t have said it! A tremendous amount of hard work, on your part, went into the preparation of this album, and it shows in the quality of your music. You were well rehearsed, the choice of material is excellent, and the performance is superb, instrumentally, and vocally. Sitting in the control room watching and listening to you, I felt very comfortable with the realization that Bluegrass music is in such good, young, hands.
