Description
Excellent, guaranteed original, 1987 STILL SEALED Private-Pressing Dark Minimal Synth LP by PARTLY CLOUDY entitled "Excess Verbiage" on Forecast Records (#FR-50, Stereo). Phenomenal only album by this American trio of two girls and one guy. Using synth/electronics, distorted bass, plodding drums, and a damaged art student flair they created this dark and unique record that at times recalls artists as different as Xex, Young Marble Giants, and Algebra Suicide. With plenty of naggingly melodic synth lines that will stick in your head, and some really excellent minimal tracks, such as "Relic Revival," and "Nice Time," among others! It's a perfect 2AM listen. I really love this album, and if just one more member of the human race acquires this and hears in it what I hear, then my work here will be complete. Track Listing: "Bus Ride," "Sunlight," "Violated by Pretension," "City," "Postcard," "You Blew It!," "Big Trouble," "Revelation," "Relic Revival," "Melodrama," "Unhallowed Ground," "Lizards," "Nice Time," and "F*cked." Very hard-to-find these days and essential! Condition: Cover = solid VG++ (very light wear, no seam splits, SEALED), Record = MINT. Winning bidder to add $3.50 postage in the USA. Good luck - check out my other auctions for more vintage records for sale and save on postage costs!
