Up for grabs Odeon record no. OR-1024, Please Please Me backed with Ask Me Why by THE BEATLES. Pressed on high quality dark red vinyl and released in Japan in 1964, this was to be the 1st Beatles Japanese 45 though it was apparently held back untill after the release of mega hit 'I wanna hold your hand' in February. This auction is for the record only no picture sleeve or wraparound. A vintage "RECORDVELOPE" and plastic sleeve will be included to protect this rare gem. The record is in very good plus condition with only minimal signs of wear and it plays beautifly. Probably the worst thing this record has going for it is that someone wrote their name on the ASK ME WHY side. The good news is that the name is short, done lightly in pencil and is not that obvious. There are a few signs of wear on the label and few light paper scuffs on the vinyl but here again they are on the ASK ME WHY side and don't register when played. This could be a nice addition to your collection, is suitable for framing and is certain to appreciate over time.Check my feedback and bid with confidence.
