Description
1st Press Psych Rock
Warhorse - Warhorse
Here is a very rare and collectable original 1st Press Swirly Vertigo copy of Warhorse's self titled debut LP on this highly sought after label. In all round super condition throughout, this one also has unusual matrix numbers and would be a fantastic addition to any collection
Read on for all the information you need..
- Year: 1970
- Format: Stereo
- Label: Vertigo Swirl
- Matrix: 6360 015 A2 & B2
- Release: UK
- Sleeve: Howards
Sleeve:
This original first press gatefold sleeve is in all round great shape! The front and rear are near perfect apart from a couple of tiny marks to the bottom right corner on the rear. There is a small degree of edge rubbing on this completely unlaminated sleeve including the spine although all the writing is clear and legible. The inner gatefold is completely white and therefore some degree of finger marks are present from the past. Overall a very solid and presentable example and rates as EX-
Vinyl:
The 1st press heavyweight vinyl is possibly a promo too due to the strange matrix numbers but i'm no expert so cannot say for sure. (any help in this matter would be appreciated) It could also be a contract press? (looks similar to track and emi matrix numbers) Pretty much all Vertigo LPs I have come across have Y and a series of numbers rather than A and B. This one is in lovely condition with nothing to report other than the usual hairlines from removal only seen under the angled light. A really great example of this super album EX+
Labels:
The labels are both clean, unmarked, unblemished, free from abrasions and writing. There are just some traces of spindles EX
