VERY FINE!



Some say no one -- not Reiner, not Toscanini -- could control an orchestral palette like Paul Paray, especially during his fine tenure at Detroit.

Here with the Detroit, Paray delivers music of Wagner, including Preludes to Acts I and III of LOHENGRIN, TANNHAUSER Overture, DIE MESIERSINGER Prelude, and one of the finest Ride of the Valkyries you will ever hear.

Nice edition, too, the original RFR1 Mercury Wing: In a cover without major fault, just a hint of fading; record inside  should play near mint.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
