Before I start I have been looking for a quick and accurate way to describe a record and the way I think is best is not to waffle on with words like mega rare. or other silly words.

All I am giving you is a true description of what you are bidding on and a fair grading system.

the rest is up to you.

Hi, Just a little bit about my grading system before I start.

I know a lot of album seller use the record collectors guide to judge the condition of an album for sale but I find this system leave a large gap between the grades.

I now prefer to use a system of scoring from 1 to 20, 20 being mint condition, 20down to 15 being excellent, 15 to 10 being very good, 10 to 5 being well played with a lot of marking, and 5 to 0 being binned by myself.

20/20

Record being as pristine as the day it was pressed and containing all the inserts and original inner sleeve

19 to 17

being in perfect condition with all the inserts and the correct inner sleeve, none or very little spindle marking, no damage to labels.

17 to 15

being almost in mint condition with just a very small amount of surface marking on the vinyl that would only come from removal from the sleeve, record labels in ex condition with none or very little spindle marking, a sleeve that has very little or no creasing or damage, and is fully readable and clean and again with all the correct inserts and inner sleeve, nor writing or unwanted labels stuck to it.

15 to 12

The record shows that it has been played but carefully looked after with the minimal of surface marking but may cause some background noise but no skipping or popping and may not have the correct inner sleeve or inserts with the album.

12 to 8

Record shows it has been well played, have more severe surface scratching and may have skips or pops when played, also missing any inserts or correct inner sleeve.

8 to 5

Record would be only fit to play at parties etc and not for the collector.

5 to 0

Only fit for the bin and I would not sell an item like this unless it was a very special album even in this state.

Anyone who requires the collectors grade to be given needs only to get in touch but I feel my grading system is more accurate. as it fills in those gaps.

Original Heavy vinyl with the Black and silver labels with the rainbow edging See Pictures.

I grade this album as 17 for the vinyl and 17 for the sleeve. see grading system.

Original inner sleeve with 16 albums on each side and advertising The Beach Boys In Concert and Best of the Beach Boys, This album is complete with the correct inner sleeve, The sleeve is in excellent condition with NO creasing NO writing and NO tearing No edge ware but has a slight rub mark to the rear.

The front cover remains very shiny and clean with ni ring marking. Again see pictures.

All in all this album is an excellent example of a well cared for vinyl record in almost perfect condition.
