Description
Found in a stoarge vault of the famous "NTD Collection" are these TWO different 12" Acetate Discs both with acrtess/singer DEANNA DURBIN. Both Disc have UNIVERSAL PICTURES labels on the and are hand written. The first has Deanna singing "BLUE DANUBE" on one side. The other side is marked: Harry Owens Orchestra. The second Disc is dated 4-4-47 Production #1534 Dircetor Pichel and is Deanna Durbin singing "Something in the Wind". The other side of this is dated the same 4-4-47 and had same Director (Pichel) and has written : MASERGRE FROM IL TRARATORE by Jan Pearce and Deanna Durbin. Both discs look in very good condition. We have not played these... usually these discs are one-of-a-kind recordings made at the motion picture studios for the track of the movie. They usually differ from the recording studio versions made for record releases, and a lot of times have countdowns at the beginning, and sometimes talking. Again, we don't have a way to play these, so we are offering them for the collector who might know what these are.
