Description
Up for auction are (2) record albums by MARK LEVINSON Audio Systems, Woodbridge, Connecticut. They were only played for system testing. Both were treated with LAST (Liquid Archival Sound Treatment) record cleaner and preservative. Records may contain stickers on the label referring to the LAST process. These LP's have been played exclusively on a SOTA Sapphire turntable with a Sumiko Premier MMT tone arm and a Clearaudio Veritas cartridge. Although not sealed, the vinyl is in incredible condition. Using Goldmine grading standards, I would rate the vinyl as near mint (NM).
The LP's are titled Pure Acoustic Master Tape Reference Recording Series, Volume One and Volume Two. They both have plain white jackets, in Good condition, with light soil and some hand written notations. Vinyl for both is NM. Also included is a description of the series and information on the Mark Allen concert grand piano used for the demonstration recordings.
