Here to offer are 2 classical operas LP Box Sets in beautiful condition, both complete with multi-page color booklet/libretto  released on theRCA Victor Soria Series label.  5 (five) LPs in all!

The Tosca records/vinyl look  in Near Mint condition with hardly any noticeable play or wear.   They really look beautiful, very glossy and clean.  The inner sleeves are original RCA factory-lined and are in Very Good-Excellent condition.  They look like they may have been affected by humidity at one time as they are “ruffled” a bit.  However, there is no sign of them having affected the records.  The sleeves are in generally great shape and with no tears or seam splits.  There is a small stamp of someone’s address at the top of some of the sleeves in Carmen.

The Carmen records/vinyl are in Excellent-Near Mint condition as there are a few more noticeable although very faint sleeve scuffs on a few sides.  Side 1 has a long hairline scuff noticeable.  I don’t believe it to be a scratch.  I played the entire side and it generally sounds beautiful overall, with only a faint, faint “tick” around track 2 for less than a minute.  It is very much in the background on my system.  There are no major scratches that I can notice on any of the records.  All records are graded visually; I have not listened to them completely, only to one side.

The outer jackets-boxes are in Excellent-Near Mint condition.  Both boxes are sturdy with a beautiful linen style cover and attractive picture/painting glued to the front.  There is slight shelf wear noticeable, but really only a bit dirty for its age.  There are no seam splits and no major damage at all.  Both boxes are complete and intact with complete insert booklets common with the Soria Series records.  The booklets are absolutely gorgeous—designed and printed in Italy, and are in Near Mint condition.  Tosca’s book has some slight age spots on the cover, but overall both are reasonably clean with beautiful type face and pictures and no creases or folds at all.  There are color pictures, full detailed writing, composers’ notes, pictures,  and information on the recording sessions as well.  These are very comprehensive and detailed accompaniments to the recordings.

These records will be a nice addition to anyone’s classical opera collection and a nice representation of the RCA Victor Soria Series.
