ALBUM #1: "MEET THE BEATLES" You’re looking at a really cool Stereo copy of this historic 46 YEAR OLD ALBUM with a NEAR MINT VALUE of $300.00!

TITLE: "MEET THE BEATLES" (Capitol ST-2047 – Stereo)

COVER: EAST COAST #3 with BROWN LETTERING on front & no Martin credit on back.

RECORD: SCRANTON PRESSING with "IAM Triangle" in trail-off area.

LABELS: EAST COAST LABELS with only 1 song credited to BMI.

ALBUM CONDITIONS

ALBUM COVER: (VG-) A nice example of this historic 46 YEAR OLD ALBUM.

Front: The cover slick is still in pretty good shape. There is some ring wear showing, and some scuffing. There is a very faint ink signature at the very top and someone filled in the "b" in by with ink. The top right corner has minor crease, and there are two staple holes near the upper left corner. (SEE IMAGES.)

Back: (#3 near RIAA symbol & "Needle Damage" warning at bottom center.) The rear cover has some ring wear and the Beatles’ ages written in ink under their photos. (SEE IMAGES.)

Seams: I have very carefully repaired a 3 inch section at the open end of the top seam with acid-free tape that is hard to detect even when putting the cover right under a strong lamp. Unfortunately, a previous owner did some taping on the bottom seam that has yellowed somewhat. Both open end corners have minor dings.

Spine: Half of the spine was already missing when I repaired the entire spine with acid-free tape. The remaining text is worn and not very legible. Both corner have been dinged.

VINYL: (VG+)

Record: Play tested. No skips. Vinyl looks great and sounds even better. Has some minor scuffs and very light scratches that produce only the occasional light pop. Both sides still have pretty good luster. (SEE IMAGES.)

Labels: Both labels look great with only some minor scuffs. (SEE IMAGES.)

Sleeve: Comes in a new generic sleeve.

TITLE: "THE BEATLES’ SECOND ALBUM" (Capitol ST-2080 – STEREO)

FIRST PRESSING – 1964

COVER: SCRANTON PRESSING with #3 on back.

RECORD: SCRANTON PRESSING with "IAM Triangle" in trail-off area.

LABELS: EAST COAST with NO RUNNING TIMES for first 2 tracks on Side Two.

ALBUM CONDITIONS

ALBUM COVER: (VG) A nice example of this great 46 YEAR OLD ALBUM.

Front: The front cover slick is still in very good shape with only the slightest hint of ring wear showing. There are a few tiny chips along the open edge & a tiny slit to the right of "featuring". (SEE IMAGES.)

Back: (#3 next to RIAA symbol & "Needle Damage" warning at bottom center.) Rear cover has just the start of ring wear, a couple of minor creases next to the spine and a 6 inch crease at the bottom left. (SEE IMAGES.)

Seams: There is a small amount of fraying and some crinkling on both seams, but no splitting. (No taping on this cover.) Both open end corners have minor dings. All in all, this is still a very solid, good looking 46 YEAR OLD ALBUM COVER. (SEE IMAGES.)

Spine: The spine is all there, but there is some fraying & crinkling. This makes the text look a bit bumpy, but it’s still very legible.

VINYL: (VG)

Record: Play tested. No skips. Has a good amount of scuffing and some light scratches, but still sounds pretty good with some light pops between songs. (SEE IMAGES.)

Labels: Both labels show some wear but still look pretty good. (SEE IMAGES.)

Sleeve: Comes in a new generic sleeve.
