Description
2 original Thelonious Sphere Monk vinyl albums, "Monk's Dream: The Thelonious Monk Quartet", recorded in 1962 for Columbia Records (CL 1965) and "Thelonious Monk Plays Duke Ellington" recorded in 1955 for Riverside Records (Riverside 12-201). Each one of these albums is remarkable in its own right and if you're a Monk fan this is quite an opportunity. Both albums are in excellent condition, (please review the photos). The covers of both are in very good condition. The "Thelonious Monk plays Duke Ellington" cover has seams splits top and bottom but no markings on either the front or the back. The "Monks Dream" album cover has a little edge wear but that's about it, however it has a name written, and an address label attached, to the back cover (please see photo).
If you have any questions about what's on each of the albums, there's a close-up photograph of each label which should be easily readable. If you have any other questions regarding these albums please forward them to me.
