Description
R.D. Hendon and his Western Jamboree Cowboys
Blues Boogie b/w Ain't Got a Lick of Sense
4 Star 1644
VG+, has a couple light marks, but very clean. flip label is great, no red line...
great texas swinging instrumental... hot guitar and steel work... great 32 second upright bass solo!! one of the best records i own!
also on the record, bill taylor, harold sharp, and i believe gig sparks and jack rodgers...
hendon also recorded several sides for starday in the early days
and this release was likely orchestrated by pappy daily and don pierce (then at 4 star)...
the only other copy i've seen of this is going for $700...
Please excuse the smudge marks that appear on the record images... those are my fingerprints and smudges on my scanner...
All my records are original pressings. No reissues or repros...
I am currently selling my entire Abbott and Fabor 45 collection. These labels were run by Fabor Robison (see below for more info).
