Comments:   The "Edison Phonograph Monthly" was a publication designed strictly for Edison retail dealers.  It contained many, many ideas for dealer promotions, factory news, current advertising, testimonials from other dealers as well as satisfied customers, and a wealth of photographs and other information that was meant to be informative and helpful to all Edison dealers, large or small.  The publication was never made available to the public - it was strictly for dealer use only.  However, the insights and information contained in this trade magazine went far beyond any publication written for the Edison owner.  Despite the later issues dating into the Diamond Disc era, this magazine contains information almost exclusively devoted to the 2 & 4 minute cylinder records and phonographs

The late Wendell Moore was the owner of the only known complete run of this magazine.  In January of 1976 he began the epic task of reprinting all the issues.  They were grouped by year, with one hardbound book covering each year.  A new volume was offered every several months to collectors who subscribed to the entire series - individual volumes were not sold separately.  Publication of all 14 volumes was completed shortly before Mr. Moore passed away.

The quality of these reprints is outstanding.  Photographs are crisp and clear, text is very clean, and the binding is top quality.  The set makes a handsome addition to your library shelf, but the real value is in the endless hours of browsing through articles, photographs, testimonials, promotional schemes and so much more information that was provided to the Edison dealer.  An extremely limited number of sets were produced (this is #113) and the set rarely turn up for sale.  This copy is in top condition and represents an extremely rare opportunity to acquire one of the most desirable reprints in the field of Edison phonograph collecting.  Don't let this opportunity pass you by,
