Comments – Original issue of this limited edition box set limited to 2000 copies only with original hard transparent outer sleeve and numbered identification sheet numbered 139, with extra record with an interview with Karajan by Richard Osbourne, superb heavy paper full colour booklet, getting rare now. This is the 1977 recording of these symphonies considered by some critics to be Karajan's finest. Don't miss it.
Sleeve Condition – EX - Box is in very fine condition with only the lightest marks, the outer hard transparent sleeve is worn at the bottom and top edges and a small bit missing at top corner at spine, the numbered sheet is very fine with no creases, the booklet is also very fine with a light crease near spine only, no heavy signs of being read, the colour sleeve of the extra record is very clean and fine, the inner surfaces of the box are also very clean, all in a very fine example of this scarce box set.
Disc Condition – EX+ - Good very clean surfaces, exceptionally light handling marks, exceptionally light spindle marks, still very bright and glossy surfaces, Disc 1: NM/EX+ Disc 2: NM/NM Disc 3: NM/NM Disc 4: NM/NM Disc 5: NM/NM Disc 6: NM/NM Disc 7: NM/NM Disc 8: NM/NM extra interview disc: NM/NM
