Description
This is a RARE JAPANESE REISSUE EDITION OF THEIR CHEESECAKE JACKET VERSION OF THE CLASSIC JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE ALBUM, ELECTRIC LADYLAND.
First issued in this format in Japan in 1969, this is the 1980 Reissue, in SUPERB CONDITION. NOTE: my use of napkin tear-offs is to satisfy the eBay censors. Other notes from the discogs listings: "Gypsy Eyes" is misspelled as "Gipsy Eyes" (confirmed), Manufactured by Polydor K.K., Japan ¥3,000, Gatefold jacket with naked ladies on the front. (also on back). Single-sheet Japanese text biography/lyric insert." The Japanese language side of this insert is shown in the listing photo. The other side are the lyrics in English.
The glossy jacket is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, with the only real issue being light to moderate corner wear, little to no edge wear, no marks, rings or splits. LPs stored in clear plastic inner sleeve, LOOK GREAT with no scratches seen on pristine vinyl, they look unplayed and I'll grade NM.
