E+ = Record shows very light wear. Should play like new.
E = Record shows light rubs or scratches/scuffs which should not be audible when played.
E- = Record shows light scratches/scuffs that may be audible.
V+ = Record shows moderate scratches/scuffs or wear that can be audibly noticible
V- = Record shows considerable scratches/wear. Good for fill-in until a better copy turns up.
