Description
Three 1950s 45rpm 7" vinyl records:
THE ROBINS doing "If Teardrops Were Kisses" & "Whadaya Want?" on Spark label #110
Original R&B Doowop pressing with '45-LS-32" in dead wax from 1955
Labels in VG condition with very light writing on the "Teardrops" side of 'P.C.' (see last photo; very hard to see) Vinyl in VG condition with sleeve scuffs & light scratches from storage Play graded at VG+ on quality turntable with 3 gram cartridge weight: no skips, loud pops, or excessive static.
Very strong clear sound.
THE CHESTNUTS doing "It's You I Love" & "Love Is True" on Davis 447 I know; the label does not say "The Chestnuts"; but this is the real thing As you can see from the photos, this is on the "Empire Record Corp" label as a "Sample Record 45 rpm" along with other information like "Manufactured for the trade". This must have been some kind of free sample to get business for Empire in NY, NY. around 1956
The dead wax has "DA-367-45" on the "Love Is True" side The dead wax on the "It's You" side has "DA-369-45" along with what looks like a backwards "3"
Pictures show label wear along with some small writing and slight center hole damage not affecting play The vinyl is VG with still lots of shine but some light scuffs and scratches fro storage Play graded at VG+ with no skips or excessive static from wear when played on a quality turntable with a 3 gram cartridge weight
The "Love Is True" side has one 'tick' when played about half way through that does not skip.
THE PREMIERS" doing "I THINK I LOVE YOU" & "TONIGHT" on the MINK label #MR-021 from 1959

The "A" side label shows some storage wear. The vinyl visual is VG condition & still has lots of shine. Play graded at VG+ on a quality turntable with a 3 gram cartridge weight with no skips, or excessive static (there's one loud 'tic' at the trail-off of the song ending.
Side "B" side's label also shows storage wear. The vinyl is also in VG condition visually with only light scuffs from storage. This as also play graded at VG+ with no skips, or excessive static (4 successive 'tics' near end of song).
