Description
This is a lot of 3 Aretino 78 RPM records. These are the weird records with the large three-inch spindle hole made by the Aretino Co of Chicago from 1907 to 1914. Lots more information shows up on the Internet about this short-lived company. These were standard pressings licensed from other companies. Check it out. I understand that center hole adapters are available. These are:
Aretino D594 "Godnat" (Good Night) and "Hytten Lukket" (The Cottage is Closed) both sung in Norwegian by Halfdan Rode
Aretino D654 "When I Marry You" sung by Frank C. Stanley and "Won’t You Be My Playmate" sung by Vocal Trio
Aretino A1353 "Yield Not to Temptation" sung by Trio (bad shape) one sided and early
The first two should play ok but the last one looks worn. I can’t play these to check the sound quality out but they are unique records from the 1900 - 1910 period.
S&H cost on this lot is $4.00 for US buyers. I can combine shipping on a weekly basis. I can make foreign shipments but will have to determine the shipping cost after the auction ends.
