Description

This is a Rare 2-Disc Partial Set plus 1 Extra 78 RPM Record featuring Marlene Dietrich. The separate disc is Ultraphon #BIEM A-887, and was made in Holland / Amsterdam. It includes the songs “Peter” & “Jonny”. This disc is in great condition, with almost no apparent wear. The set is titled “Marlene Dietrich Sings”, and the cover says it is Vox #VSP-304, although the record labels say Brunswick Hall of Fame / International #85018. It originally contained 3-records, but now only has 2, plus the set cover. The songs include; Wo Ist Der Man; Ja So Bin Ich; Mein Blondes Baby; & Allein Einer Grossen Stadt. These songs were recorded in Europe, and are in the German language. A brief description of Dietrich & the album is on the inside front cover (in English). These records are also in great condition, with almost no wear, or minor if any. The cover has a big dent in one corner, some wear along the edges, and some small splits here & there along the spine edges. Strangely Enough, the mis-matched record has the same songs as the missing disc. I don’t know if this record actually belongs to the set or not!!
