Description

Job lot of three West African lps.

1) Orchestre Poly Rhythmo lp, ‘Le Sato 2’, 2023 reissue on Acid Jazz , AJXLP771. Mint-, mint-. Sleeve still in shrink. A masterpiece.

2) Amazing compilation of hypnotic Manding from Mali. ‘Mali Music’ on Stern’s Africa, 1988, STERNS3001. Featuring the Rail Band de Bamako, Orchestre Regional de Kayes, de Mopti, de Sikasso, de Segou etc. Sleeve and vinyl are both vg+.

3) Selected Choir of the Church of the Lord (Aladura), Lagos & District Ip, self-titled, on Nigerian CLC Records, 1970s? Sleeve vg, vinyl vg. Top end of vg, just a few fine and light marks. Very very slight warp; you can see the extent of it in the video, certainly not affecting play.
Totally invisible release, amazing homemade sleeve art and brainmelting choir over band.
