Perhaps the height of the Beatles popularity and creativity, 1965-1966 included two albums considered to be among the greatest recordings of all time. Available now:
1) The Beatles' 1966 Capitol release "Revolver", identified as ST-2576. THIS IS NOT A RE-RELEASE! This is the stereo version, preferable by some for this, one of the first psychedelic albums recorded by any artist. The vinyl has very few light marks and scuffs, but I played the album just before this sale, and it sounded great, with no skips and minimal surface noise. I'm grading the vinyl to be Excellent.
The cover, overall, looks very good. No seam splits, and no writing on the cover, or on the record label. The back of the cover is showing more ring wear than the front, and the lower left corner of the back has some visible warping, perhaps indicative of some water damage. With that flaw, I would grade the cover as Good.
2) The Beatles' 1965 Capitol release "Rubber Soul", identified as T-2442. This mono version is considered rare, particularly in the condition that this item is in. The vinyl has some light marks and scratches, but I played the album just before putting it up for sale, and it sounded great, with no skips and minimal surface noise. I'm grading the vinyl to be Very Good Plus.
The cover has the surface wear expected for having been without shrink wrap for nearly 50 years. No significant seam splits, and no writing on the cover, or on the record label. I would grade the cover, conservatively, as Very Good.
3) The Beatles' 1965 Capitol release "Beatles VI", identified as T-2358. This mono version is notable for its back cover, which directs the fan to "See label for correct playing order". Another interesting tidbit, this album includes two songs - "Dizzy Miss Lizzie" and "Bad Boy" - that were recorded specifically for the American market. The vinyl has some light marks, but I played the album just before putting it up for sale, and it sounded great, with no skips and minimal surface noise. I'm grading the vinyl to be Very Good Plus.

In the late 1970’s, the teen-aged me would wake up early on many Saturday mornings, and drive my green Volkswagen Beetle from “The Valley”, over the hill toward Los Angeles, and make my way to the famous Capitol Records building. (You’ve seen it, right? Looks like a stack of records?) There, in the parking lot, tables were set up for collectors/dealers to sell used records to, among others, hardcore Beatles fans like me. (Maybe this still goes on, I don't know. I haven't been out there for almost 30 years!) With my meager funds, I would pick up whatever I could afford: a single or two, a British EP, an old LP. My goal was to collect one of everything. Well, I didn’t come close, but I did acquire a lot of pretty cool stuff…
The vinyl will be in poly-lined sleeves, and will be outside of the jackets. Vinyl and jacket together will be slid into in a poly outer sleeve, and the three albums will be carefully packed into a record mailing box. Shipping at $5.00 is for Media Mail.
