Hi Ebay,
It's a tough choice, but I've decided to part with these 3 tapes. I'm guessing there's a Why? fan out there that will get more joy from them than me. Here's what we've got:
1.Why....Part-Time People Cage....or part-time key
2.It's not easy being....Green Think
3.Greenthink- Blindfold
"Blindfold" is a professionally printed cassette, listed as "dose 003" on the cassette itself. This album has Dose One and Why collaborating with a heap of guests including Odd Nosdam, Mr. Dibbs, jel, Kris Brown, Illogic, more.
"It's not easy being...Green Think" is handmade all the way. The cover is xeroxed, and the tape is a maxell store-bought blank tape, with handwritten labels. I got this from either Why or Odd Nosdam in 98-99. This tape's been around, but it's been well cared-for.
"Part Time People Cage or Part Time Key" is likewise a handmade release, this time with a more professional blank cassette, with a white label with some gray watercolor wash on it and the title typed on it. The case is cracked, but the tape is in great condition.
These are some of the earliest recordings from Why? and are especially fascinating in light of some of the music he's made in recent years. All the same, they're pretty low-fi at times. I've had these tapes a long time and have taken good care of them. I hope the winner will enjoy them.
